What is the new Fleetboard Portal and how does it differ from the current desktop solution?
The new Fleetboard Portal is a holistic solution replacing the previous Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime Portal and Fleetboard Cockpit systems. The portal offers an intuitive, web-based user interface for managing booked Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime or Fleetboard services.

Which functions does the new Fleetboard Portal offer?
The Fleetboard Portal bundles all important fleet information and digital services in a modern, intuitive platform. This means that vehicles, drivers and processes can be kept in sight at all times and the efficiency, transparency and availability of the fleet can be increased.
What are the requirements for using the new Fleetboard Portal?
System requirements: For using the new Fleetboard Portal, we recommend the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. You will need an email address to register.
Hardware requirements: Depending on the current development status, the use of the new Fleetboard Portal requires certain hardware versions in your vehicle. You can find out the supported hardware and the configuration in your vehicle from your sales partner.
How can I get access to the new Fleetboard Portal?
A Fleetboard master agreement or Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime agreement is required for using the new Fleetboard Portal. Access to the portal is only possible through a personalised invitation by an already existing user. This can provide access to selected fleets and relevant data.
How do I register in the new Fleetboard Portal once I have received an invitation?
Click the link in the invitation that you received by email. Then choose an individual password in the registration screen and log in.

How does vehicle activation and deactivation work in the new Fleetboard Portal?
A ticket with the category “Activate new asset” or “Deactivate asset” can be created in the Support Centre of the Fleetboard Portal.
Can I log in to my user account at the same time using different terminal devices?
You can log in using different terminal devices or browsers at the same time.
How long is data stored in the cloud?
The data will be stored for as long as necessary to provide the relevant services in accordance with data protection regulations. Automatic deletion takes place after expiry of the corresponding period.
Is it possible to connect external systems to the Fleetboard Portal?
No interfaces are currently offered via the new Fleetboard portal. However, it is possible to obtain data from the FB Portal via a SOAP interface.
Does Charge Management work with my existing charging stations?
Charge Management offers services for charging stations at private depots. The current list of compatible charging stations can be found on our website. We are continuously testing new charging stations from different providers for compatibility with Charge Management.
Does Charge Management work with public charging stations?
Public charging processes cannot currently be monitored with Charge Management. As the availability of the charging network for trucks increases, we plan to add this aspect to the service.
Where can you get information about the battery charge level and remaining range?
The data on the battery charge level and the remaining range come directly from the vehicle itself. The data is displayed in the following applications: Map, Uptime
Do charging stations communicate directly with the Daimler Truck backend or is there an interface between the backends of the charging provider and Daimler Truck?
The charging station communicates directly with the Daimler Truck Backend via its SIM card or cable connection. Communication is based on the OCPP 1.6 standard.
Does the charging limit apply per vehicle or to the entire charging station?
For the entire charging station. This then distributes the power depending on the absorption capacity of the vehicles, which are plugged in at the same time via several connections if required.
Who can help me with a problem with my charging station?
Siemens charging station: In the event of problems, contact either the Fleetboard or Siemens support team.
Charging station from other manufacturers: If you have any problems with the hardware of the charging station, please contact the support team of the manufacturer of your charging station. Every problem in the Fleetboard Charging App is handled by the Fleetboard Support Team.
Does Daimler Truck/Fleetboard provide SIM cards for the charging station of customers?
No, Daimler Truck/Fleetboard does not provide SIM cards for customers. A charging station can be connected to the Internet via LAN, WLAN or SIM card.
How much data traffic do I have to expect when my charging station is connected to the Internet via a SIM card?
One of our charging station providers estimates a data transfer of approx. <500 MB per month.
Are compatible charging stations available in all Fleetboard markets?
In all markets in which the eActros/eEconic is available, there should be charging stations that are compatible with charge management. The current list of compatible charging stations can be found on our website.
Where can I find my Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime information?
Your Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime Portal has been integrated in the new Fleetboard Portal.
Are Fleetboard services mandatory for the use of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime?
No, they are not.
For which vehicles is Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime available?
The use of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime is only possible in combination with a Mercedes-Benz truck.
The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime service is currently available for the "Actros", "Antos", "Arocs", "Atego", "eActros", "Econic" and "eEconic" model series if the technical requirements are met, subject to country-specific and vehicle-specific exceptions.

Is Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime also available for electric vehicles?
Yes, MB Trucks Uptime can generally be offered for Mercedes-Benz e-vehicles and is available in the Fleetboard-Portal.
How can I change the interval of my mass storage download?
You can set the interval (max. 30-day interval) for the mass storage device download individually in the Fleetboard Portal.
How can I manage the driver card download?
You can manage the driver card download in the Fleetboard Portal. Detailed instructions on this can be found in the Fleetboard Portal Support Centre.
What advantages does "Card Hotel" offer me?
Our card hotel keeps your company cards available 24/7. You do not need to manage company cards yourself or use a card reader. The Card Hotel ensures 24/7 access for tachograph downloads.
How can I send you my company cards?
Follow the step-by-step instructions within the configuration. We explain how you can send company cards to our card hotel, including the address.
How many company cards can I send to the card hotel?
We recommend storing one company card per 50 vehicles in your fleet.
How do I get my company cards back?
Please contact the support team. We will then arrange for your company card to be returned.
What happens when my company cards expire?
We will notify you 90 days in advance of the expiry date. After the expiry date, we will destroy the card in your name. If you prefer to keep the card, please contact Fleetboard Support.
I have forgotten my password for the Fleetboard Portal. How can I do this?
Click on “Forgot password” on the login page. Enter the email address with which you are registered in the FB Portal. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you no longer have access to the stored e-mail address or do not receive a reset e-mail, please contact Fleetboard Support or the Customer Admin for your fleet
The vehicle is equipped with a smart tachograph. What do I have to bear in mind?
- Since 15.06.2019, the new smart tachograph (DTCO 4.0/2nd generation tachograph) has been mandatory for new vehicle registrations.
- With the introduction of the new smart tachograph, new workshop cards, company cards and driver cards (2nd generation cards) will also be introduced.
- Smart tachographs can only be configured with workshop cards of the 2nd generation.
- Company cards and driver cards can continue to be used; 2nd generation cards are issued when they expire/are replaced.
Important:
- For vehicles with a smart tachograph, there is no approval for the Fleetboard board computer TP4.
- Vehicles with a smart tachograph must be equipped with a Fleetboard on-board computer TP5/cTP.
- Customers require the latest version of the Fleetboard Cockpit (1.28 or higher).

How can I activate TruckLive after upgrading to the 2nd generation Truck Data Centre 6/7?
- Please check whether your vehicle is suitable for TruckLive retrofitting:
- For Actros/Arocs as of production date 03/2017 and Atego as of production date 01/2019, delivered with Truck Data Centre 6/7 of the 1st generation, TruckLive can be activated after upgrading to Truck Data Centre 6/7 LTE of the 2nd generation. TruckLive activation of your retrofitted vehicle takes place via the My TruckPoint customer portal. If you do not see your retrofitted vehicle in My TruckPoint, please add it to your fleet in manual mode: Navigation item "Vehicles" - "Fleet" - "Add new vehicle".
- My TruckPoint & TruckLive is currently available in the following markets: AT, BELUX, NL, ES, DE, PT, IT, CH, CZ, FR, PL, UK
- One of the following preinstallation codes is a prerequisite: J9N, J9O, J8Y or J8Z.
- Please create a support ticket via your My TruckPoint portal: My TruckPoint (mercedes-benz-trucks.com).

How is a cold start carried out on the DispoPilot.guide?
Cold start with DispoPilot.guide (1st generation):
- Press and hold the On/Off button at the top of the display.
- Then briefly press the reset button on the back of the display and keep the On/Off button pressed.
- Continue to press and hold the On/Off button until a dialogue appears (blue screen, dialogue in English).
- Release the On/Off button and confirm the dialogue.
- The device will now restart by itself. (Info: This process takes a little longer than a warm start)
Cold start with DispoPilot.guide (2nd generation):
- Release the DispoPilot.guide from the bracket.
- Press and hold the On/Off button until a grey menu appears.
- Press "Switch off" until DispoPilot.guide switches off.
- Press the On/Off button until the "Welcome Screen" appears.
- Place the DispoPilot.guide back in its holder.
- Press OK on the "Welcome Screen".

What influences the duration of an activation?
The duration of activation depends on several factors, such as what hardware is installed and the mobile network reception. Please also ensure that the ignition is switched on at least once a day during activation.
How can I activate my vehicle?
For this purpose, please create a ticket in the Support Centre of the Fleetboard Portal with the category “Activate new asset”.
Questions about invoice/contract:
Where can I find my contract number and customer number?
The contract number is the 10-digit number on your contract starting with "14"”. The customer number has 5 or 6 digits and can also be found on your contract.
Can I change my contract from the Transport Management service to the Messaging service?
A contract change is possible. This requires an amendment to the framework agreement. Please contact your sales representative.
How long is the data stored in the Fleetboard system?
Depending on the type of data, different storage periods are defined; please refer to the Fleetboard data protection policy for these.
Where can I find an overview of my booked services?
You can find your booked services in your contract confirmation.
Why am I charged a connection and/or annual fee?
The connection and/or annual fee is part of your contract with Fleetboard.
Why is a vehicle charged even though it is no longer in my fleet?
In this case, the vehicle does not appear to be deactivated. You can deactivate a vehicle that you no longer have in operation at any time using our online form. If you have already sold or returned the vehicle, we require proof such as the leasing partner’s contract or sales receipt.
When are invoices issued?
Invoices are issued at the beginning of each month.
